Adam Scambler played all his junior cricket with Heidelberg, emerging into a highly valued member of the Senior Cricket Club. Adam joined the committee as he entered the Senior Club moving into the role of Treasurer while making significant contributions as player in our Senior XI’s. When he was aged just 30 years, Adam passed away suddenly on his way to work in October 2010. Adam’s passing had a profound impact on his peers and this award was struck in his honour. It is to recognise an emerging player from our U/16’s or U/18’s who held the same values as Adam and was a likely long term player and off field contributor to Heidelberg CC. |
